Jason Worlledge

Jason Worlledge serves as the Resident Program Director for the International Republican Institute’s (IRI) Europe Division, where he leads efforts to strengthen political parties in the face of authoritarian actors and malign influence. Based in Warsaw, Poland, Jason brings over 15 years of experience in organizational leadership, leader development, and advancing democracy initiatives globally.

From 2015 to 2018, Jason served as an advisor to two Secretaries General of the Community of Democracies. During this time, he played a key role in drafting the organization’s five-year strategic plan and vision, while co-leading the global Democracy and Security research project alongside former Prime Minister Mehdi Jomaa and Secretary of State Madeleine Albright.

Before joining IRI, Jason held senior positions at the European Academy of Diplomacy and the Casimir Pulaski Foundation, where he led international program development. He co-founded the New Security Leaders program and the Warsaw Security Forum, in addition to organizing training programs for early-career diplomats and foreign policy professionals.

Jason holds undergraduate degrees in Advertising and Organizational Psychology, and earned an MBA from the London Business School in 2012. He began his career in the United States Marine Corps (1998-2003), where he served as an enlisted intelligence analyst and counter-narcotics team leader.
