By invitation only, the AGS Frontiers Forum will convene in Tampa, Florida, April 9–11, 2026, bringing together a curated group of legislators, parliamentarians, and local leaders from the United States, Europe, and the Indo-Pacific, alongside leading experts in defense and security.
Designed as a working-level exchange rather than a public conference, the Forum builds on a year of international study visits and convenings, culminating in a focused dialogue on the global security challenges now reaching state and local communities.

Exploring Frontiers in Security
The Forum will provide a collaborative environment to address challenges posed by adversaries like the People’s Republic of China, Russia, and Iran and their proxies focusing on three essential pillars:
- Understanding the Threats: Interactive sessions will explore adversarial tactics, including cyberattacks, hybrid warfare, and economic coercion, targeting local and state leaders.
- Collective Response: Panels and workshops will dissect these tactics, examining subnational espionage, transnational repression, foreign information manipulation campaigns, and their impact on governance.
- Preparing for the Threats of Tomorrow: Leaders will collaborate to develop actionable strategies, share proven approaches, and forge international partnerships to safeguard democratic institutions and community security.
